Workshop: Computed Tomography
Drs. Tobias Schwarz & Sophie Dennison
Computed tomography (CT) has become widely available in small animal practice in the last decade and has spread from academic institutions to referral institutions and increasingly also primary care clinics. Modern CT units can scan one or several small animal body parts within one minute or less and makes it more applicable. CT is a very versatile imaging modality that can be used very effectively for different diagnostic work ups (head, spine, thorax, abdomen, extremities). Currently there are very limited continuing education options for veterinarians who have CT access and want to improve their technical and diagnostic skills. This course aims to fill this gap.
